It's been a couple of weeks since I've been here. Since I last posted here I went to Fl. to the Don Garlits Museum among other places. It was cold! Brown grass, burnt palm trees and not a single live banana plant to be seen from Orlando north. My buddy Don and I spent all night driving to Cocoa Beach to wathch the shuttle that didn't launch. Then we slept most of the day. One of the coolest places I have been to is about 20 miles west of Orlando, a place called Fantasy of Flight. This is an aircraft museum that has airplanes of all kinds up to the jet age. Don and I were there when they opened at 10:00 a.m. and stayed until they closed at 5:00 p.m. They had a nice restuarant there and there was barely time to eat.

An hour ago I didn't know what a blog was and now I have one! I will try to keep you posted on what is going on with "Mr. Chevy" and the car world in Southern Illinois and the St. Louis area. "Mr. Chevy" has been at the Don Garlits Museum since August of '09. My buddy Don and I will be going to Fla. the first week in Feb. We plan to spend a day at the museum and maybe go to CoCoa Beach, New Smyrna Beach, and possibly Daytona too.
